Katie McKenna

Nurse Practitioner

With over three decades of experience, Katie McKenna is a compassionate Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated her career to caring for the most vulnerable of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a warm, empathetic approach to supporting families during what can be one of the most challenging times of their lives.

More recently, Katie has developed a passion for ADHD assessment and support, particularly in children and adolescents. She is committed to applying her skills to help these young people and their families navigate the journey to diagnosis and management.

Having called Newcastle home for more than ten years, Katie understands the local community. She is a proud mum to two teenage boys and loves to unwind by spending time at the beach with her partner.
