Picture of Artwork
We are honored to feature the work of Jess Hopcroft from Dhiiyaan Art. Jess is a proud Aboriginal woman who loves sharing and embracing her culture with the world. She is happily married and has two beautiful daughters, and they live on Wonnarua country.
This artwork represents the journey of growth, connection, and care that happens within the Hunter Children's Clinics Community.
Each circle tells a story of children families, and the caring hands that guide them. The large gathering circles represnets the clinics, a safe and nuturing place where every child is supported to thrive.
The surrounding pathways and curved people symbols show the connection between families, staff, and community, each one walking together with compassion and purpose. The soft aqua tones represent calm and healing, while the peach and blush hues represent warmth, safety, and the gentle support that surrounds every child.
