Appointments and availability

Dr Parry now consults primarily by telehealth, offering both initial appointments and follow-ups. Families can arrange an online paediatrician appointment with him from anywhere across Newcastle, the Hunter Region, and throughout NSW and Australia. He also sees families in person at the Merewether and Carrington clinics where this is clinically appropriate.

Online booking is available for Dr Parry for both new appointments and follow-ups, and he welcomes new referrals. New paediatric patients still need a valid GP referral before a first appointment can be booked.

Between appointments, Dr Parry can often provide a brief telephone call, for example to adjust a medication dose or talk through a concern. These calls are generally bulk billed where there is a current referral; bulk billing is always at the clinician's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

Dr Parry welcomes the siblings and household members of children already in his care, even when his books are otherwise full. He cares for children, teenagers and young adults, often continuing that care into the early twenties as young people move from school into further study, work and adult life.

Services Dr Robert Parry provides: General Paediatrics, ADHD Assessment & Care, and Autism Assessment.

Children in our care often work alongside our allied health team, including occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology and dietetics.
