Maddie is a dedicated paediatric Occupational Therapist with over eight years of combined experience working with children and their families. She began her career as a disability support worker and allied health assistant while completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2020. She is also a certified kids and teens yoga instructor.
Maddie is passionate about supporting children's development in a client-centered, holistic, and neuroaffirming manner. She uses a play-based approach to engage children and help them reach their goals. Her expertise includes supporting independence in fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional and energy regulation, executive functioning, play skills, and self-care.
Originally from a country town, Maddie now calls Newcastle home. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by playing hockey, Oztag, and going to the gym or the beach. She loves spending time with her partner, friends, and her cavoodle, Barney.
