Courtney Baleato

Dietitian

Courtney Baleato, Paediatric Dietitian at Hunter Children's Clinics, Newcastle
As an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitians Australia, Courtney is committed to helping people build a positive and respectful relationship with food. She holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours Class 1) from the University of Newcastle.
Courtney provides dietetics in partnership with Optimum Intake, seeing children at our Merewether clinic. To book with Courtney, please contact our team rather than Optimum Intake directly.
Courtney's approach is neuroaffirming, meaning she partners with you to understand your unique nervous system and needs. She believes that a healthy relationship with food should be supportive, not stressful. Instead of focusing on rigid rules, Courtney helps you tune into your body's signals and find what truly feels good for you. She is dedicated to creating a non-judgmental space where you can explore and build a sustainable way of eating that honors your individual experiences, whether they relate to sensory needs, executive function, or other personal preferences.
When she's not working, Courtney enjoys art, cooking, and spending time by the water with her husband, two young children, and their lively Boston Terrier, Murphy.
